The Holiday Gift Shoppe online catalog appears to list the dates for the events at MGM and Bellagio in November. It doesn't look like MGM has updated it on their site just yet.

    MGM - November 5-8
    Bellagio - November 29-22

This is enough for me to book a trip for that date and cross my fingers that we can turn in some MyVegas LP again.

The catalog is NOTORIOUSLY inaccurate. They were oosting incorrect values right up until the start of the first event weekend. Look at it. they have 2019 and 2020 on the same page. Very sloppy.

The dates on the catalog front page are the 2019 dates.

    MGM Grand 10/31-11/3

    Bellagio 12/5-12/8

The dates on the interior of the catalog are 2020 dates (the second event at the Bellagio are 11/19-11/22/2020.

    http://holidaygiftshoppecatalog.com/Index.html#/home

I don't see the 2020 dates anywhere else, and HGS is usually the same dates at GGWU.

    https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/mlife-rewards-program/holiday-gift-shoppe.html

CET GGWU December dates are 11/5-11/9 and 12/12-12/17/2020. Those are that dates that I have booked in anticipation of mLife having their event on the same weekend, as they have the past 5 years.

However, there is a first time for everything and this may be it. I need to re-do my second trip. I am hoping for Playstudios (myVegas) HGS points as well.

Bellagio Nov 19-22 is, I believe, correct. That's what they were saying at the slot tournament in March before everything closed...

I apologize - typo on my part. Bellagio should have read as November 19-22. The graphic can be seen on the HGS web site via the desktop version; it doesn't seem to appear on the mobile site. Whether its accurate or not, who knows. It wasn't there last week. I did think it was odd they have both events listed in the month of November, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of things are different this year.

Well, I've changed my reservations for HGS. I'm going with what is in print. I also think that it's strange that both dates are in November, but who knows. I couldn't get into Aria or Bellagio for the second event, but I was able to get into NoMad.

Just booked rooms jumping between MLife/CET for 5th-23rd November as well.

Might be able to blag a couple trips at the back end of the year if this works out.

Bit of a side question for you, @DaiLun. Were you able to turn in LP for both events in the past? I only did it once last year for the MGM event, but would consider doing it for both HGS 2020 events if allowed. I figured it is way too early to ask my new host who just replaced my long timer. Thanks in advance.

In my long time playing MyVegas I have never heard of turning lps for reward points for the yearly shop. Is this through MyVegas hosts? If not what is the deal with this? What will 1 million lps get me? I must have not been listening on the MyVegas Friends group about this.

I was eligible to earn points for both events. Please see my thread "My Playstudios strategy (or how I ended up with $3300 in mLife FP)

        https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/my-playstudios-strategy-or-how-i-ended-up-with-3300-in-mlife-fp.166708/page-2#post-1941657

For me, the "thing" that took a lot of "doing" was getting comp stays for both of the weekends. Note that Playstudios comps are NOT allowed as part of the terms for the HGS rewards.

Yes, great thread, and I took advantage of the same offer at HGS 2019. I'm currently sitting on about 8 million LP and hope to use it HGS 2020. Thanks again for the insight today.

Holy s**t!!! Look at the rates (for those of you who don't get comps) for the first HGS weekend. 11/6-11/9/2020

Even Excalibur is $98 a night for the weekend! Glad I booked early, even though it IS the Mirage. Right now they're asking over $200 a night.

Yes, currently sitting on 23M LPs, so I think I'm set for HGS 2020 and my trip to Jeju Island or Macau in August.

I'm seeing that as well! I was able to get full comp, no resort fee for the 2nd HGS weekend, however.

Yeah, now it's just waiting for May 28th when SWA posts it's updated flight schedule. Worse comes to worst, I can always drive.

I've managed to get Bellagio comped for the first event and Delano during the 2nd.

I've paid for a flight last year, which was for my now to be cancelled trip in June-July. I'm hoping when they cancel my flight it'll offer a free change, and I'll use it to move to December which is currently $200 more for premium, and for these dates is $200 less.

Booked Vdara for Nov 6-7 at $95/night (plus resort fee... There probably will be a stay requirement again like previous? I think last year it was a 3 day stay - and could be comp'd. Right?

Think it was 2 nights in December, and comped stays through MLife were fine.

I just booked 6th-9th at Nomad for the first one, and have 3 nights booked at Bellagio for the 2nd event. Hopefully being there for 2 nights is ok again, as I'm staying a night after it ends.

Tried moving my stay I had there in June over, but they said no comps available for 5th-8th, which was strange. Must be to do with the higher RC & FP on the offer I booked earlier.
