Location: Jersey Roots Dispensary, West Milford, New Jersey
Position: Budtender (Retail POS)

Jersey Roots Dispensary, your trusted source for premium cannabis products, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Budtenders. As a Budtender, you will play a pivotal role in creating positive experiences for our customers while upholding our commitment to quality and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them select the right cannabis products to suit their needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized retail environment, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
Educate customers on various cannabis products, including strains, effects, and consumption methods.
Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about new products, industry trends, and best practices.
Acute Attention to detail at every stage of the process
The ability to pivot with the regulations of the industry
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old and comply with all local, state, and company regulation.
Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledgeable about cannabinoids, terpenes, cannabis products, and industry regulations (or a passion to learn).
Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Dutchie Knowledge is a plus
Must have reliable transportation.
Weekend availability is required.
