A pair of twins from My 600-lb Life look completely unrecognisable after losing a total of 1200lbs together.
Brandi and Kandi Dreier, who appeared on the TLC reality show together, weighed in at a whopping 600lbs each, leaving the 29-year-old sisters facing serious and life-threatening health complications.
The twins both experienced a traumatizing childhood, which was full of neglect and abuse, forcing the young sisters to turn to each other and to food as comfort in their turbulent lives.
With a combined weight of over a thousand pounds, the women finally admitted they needed to make some drastic changes in their lives.
My 600-lb Life fans then followed the sisters on their gruelling weight loss journey with the help of renowned surgeon Dr Younan Nowzaradan, who was on hand to get them on the right track.

It was a bumpy journey for the twins, especially for Kandi, who came close to losing her life.
She tragically suffered a pulmonary embolism and a heart attack on the operating table during her weight loss surgery, which left her in a week-long medically induced coma.
However, the pair managed to beat the odds and fast forward six years on from their episode, viewers will be pleased to learn that the sisters are looking better than ever.
Both twins are now thriving in their new lives and regularly sharing updates with fans via their social media accounts.

Brandi has since become a mother to two young children and frequently shares details to her followers about life as a mother alongside her husband, Femi.
In one image, Brandi looks noticeably slimmer and glowing as she cuddles up to her adorable baby daughter and her husband for a family selfie.
Other snaps the reality star has shared on Facebook show her seemingly in a much better place mentally and physically as she enjoys a completely different lifestyle from the one she did before.
When Brandi revealed she had given birth to her second child, a daughter, in 2020, she wrote in an emotional post on social media: "Words can't even describe how truly lucky and blessed we are.

“I can't thank you God, enough to have given me the honour of being these little babies' mommy. They are my purpose in life, they are my everything. God is so amazing," she added.
As for Kandi, just like her sister it seems that life is looking on the up.
In one image the star shared on social media, she was also seen glowing as she flaunted her new slimmed-down figure as she posed for a snap while sitting on the couch.
She also regularly posts about her relationship with a woman named Ruth, as the pair always look happy to be together.

The twins, who used food as a coping mechanism early on in their lives after facing abuse during their childhood, recently updated fans on their new lives in a joint interview with People magazine.
Thankfully “food doesn't rule” their “lives anymore" the pair revealed during an interview with the outlet.
They also told the publication that following the show, their journey was on the right path, explaining: "There's not been any other setbacks. It's like it didn't even happen."
A few years after their first TLC appearance, the sisters even appeared in the show’s spin-off show, My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now? to show fans how much their lives have improved.
