WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JUNE 17

Listen to me for a nominal fee you can have anything you want. What matters the most is the bad joke ghost circling your floating corpse at the end of the haunt. Never forming pleasantry, just liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with the opening signature glitching out.

Thence to a recap of Clash at the Castle.

Seth Rollins is here!

He soaks in the crowd’s reaction to his return before welcoming us to Monday Night Rollins. He says he misses us and he’s back for one reason, to be the very greatest of all time, and he’s used to climbing ladders and so on and—

Enter Damian Priest.

He says he’s not sarcastic when he says he wanted to be the first to welcome him back, he looks great and he looks healthy and he’s been wanting face-to-face time to tell Rollins that he wanted to cash in on him, out of respect. But it’s not Monday Night Rollins anymore because the Judgment Day runs things.

Seth asks him what kind of champion he wants to be and I lose most of Damian’s response because my cable is on the fritz again, but he suggests that instead of Seth entering Money in the Bank they should just have a title match at the show. Rollins accuses him of setting up an ambush but Priest says it’s man to man, just tell him whether or not it’s on.

Rollins accepts the challenge, of course.

Commentary hypes up the rest of the show.

Alpha Academy roll up on Adam Pearce’s office and Chad Gable talks trash at his students for costing him the title and he asks for a rematch. Pearce talks about how disappointing it must be and I lose his actual decision in the garble as I reboot my cable box.

Back from commercial, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are shown walking backstage.

Braun Strowman vs. Chad Gable

Strowman clobbering Gable down, whip into the ropes, boot up, scoop Chad, he floats over, O’Connor roll denied and Braun boots him down! Clubs in the corner, Strowman clubs him to the floor and we go to break!

Back from commercial, back inside, Gable with some leg kicks but the monster powers up...

Braun Strowman wins by pinfall with a powerslam.

Post-match, Chad Gable berates Akira Tozawa but Maxxine Dupri steps between them! He takes her crutch away and orders her out of the ring and yells at Tozawa when he tries to help before shoving him down! Otis Dozovic hears the bump and turns around and stares Gable down! HE’S HAD ENOUGH! HE SHOVES CHAD DOWN IN THE CORNER AND TEARS HIS SHIRT OFF!

We get a recap of all the Dominik Mysterio / Liv Morgan business from last week.

Tonight in the Judgment Day clubhouse, Finn Balor offers to help Damian Priest against Seth Rollins but Priest just wants to know why Balor took Morgan’s room key. Finn says he’s just trying to keep Dom safe, and Damian accepts this and asks what he’s gonna do when he inevitably wins the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Balor fakes him out before reassuring him they’re on the same page. Mysterio wants to know where his vest is, Carlito teases him, and Damian points out he has a match to get ready for.

Damage CTRL make their entrance to send us to break.

IYO SKY vs. Kiana James vs. Zelina Vega (Money in the Bank Qualifying Match)

SKY quickly in control as things go to the floor, Asai moonsault on James, Vega with a Meteora off the apron and we go to break!

A recap of Bron Breakker’s path of terror follows.

Sami Zayn makes his entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Sami Zayn gets on the mic and talks about how he’s still Intercontinental Champion.

He says he’s ready to move on from Chad Gable but he doesn’t want to move on from Alpha Academy but he knows how it is, when he was in the Bloodline he couldn’t be moved until he was ready but he sees the signs and he knows Otis is going to move on and that means he will to, and that means defending the Intercontinental Championship against anybody and everybody.

Enter Bron Breakker.

He stands there and Sami tells him he didn’t come in here to not challenge for the title so get it over with.

Enter Sheamus.

He says if Zayn is handing out opportunities, maybe he should give his old pal Sheamus one. He’d do anything to get hands on that title, you see. Breakker pipes up and says if Sheamus doesn’t get out of his way he’ll kick his ass. The Celtic Warrior says he gets it, he’s co*cky and as the new hot thing in WWE he has no skin in the game when it comes to the Intercontinental Championship.

So get to the back of the line before he makes you.

Sami says he’s gonna go to Adam Pearce and he’s gonna make this happen.

Dragon Lee cuts a promo about how he’s gonna beat Carlito tonight.

Dragon makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are interviewed backstage.

They talk about what a dream come true winning the titles at home and the hard work starts now because they’ll take on and take out anyone who comes for their titles.

Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark roll up to talk about how they should have won.

We get footage of CM Punk getting a referee shirt from Jessika Carr backstage at Clash at the Castle and telling her not to worry about it.

Drew McIntyre is walking backstage to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Chad Gable berates Otis Dozovic while he packs.

He says he’s leaving, Chad says they’re a family and they can’t leave, but Dozer says he’s done. Gable says he’s done when he says he’s done and he’s done, and they’re all expelled and he’s gonna win Money in the Bank all by himself.

Drew McIntyre makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He starts haltingly before saying he can’t deal with this anymore and he quits.

He walks off and Adam Pearce chases after him and we go abruptly to break.

Back from commercial, we get footage of Triple H and Adam Pearce trying to get Drew McIntyre to stay but he storms off and refuses to meet Pearce in his office.

Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane) vs. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter

Babyfaces working fast early, isolating Kai, taking her to the floor and beating her down, tags made, diving elbow from Sane but Chance breaks it up! Lyra Valkyria comes down to check on her, tide turns...

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter win by pinfall with Afterparty.

We see Bron Breakker lacing his boots up and we go to break.

IYO SKY says Damage CTRL has to change or she’ll change things her self.

Back from commercial, Sheamus on the comeback, Bossman Slam for two! Bron slips on the ropes and a Frankensteiner goes sideways but he manages to get it through! Celtic Warrior connects with White Noise, cover for two! Beats of the Bodhran ensue, Bron is down! But Ludwig Kaiser runs in and attacks Sheamus...

Sheamus wins by disqualification.

Post-match Kaiser and Sheamus brawl around ringside until Bron spears the Celtic Warrior out of his boots! Ludwig traps Sheamus against the steel steps and charges but Breakker runs around the other way to intercept him... SPEAR! Road agents Petey Williams and Shawn Daivairi keep the peace between Bron and Sami Zayn but Breakker tries to get a shot in!

Dominik Mysterio is backstage looking for his vest when he runs into Liv Morgan, still wearing it. He asks nicely and she calls him bossy before saying she’ll only give it back if he takes it off of her himself. He reaches out and starts to unzip it as Damian Priest comes around the way and yells at him!

Mysterio says he’s just trying to get his vest back and Priest tells him to hurry it up before asking Liv to leave him alone. She says Dominik wants her and saunters off to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Karrion Kross cuts a promo standing next to Scarlett Bordeaux.

He issues a challenge to either member of New Day to a singles match next week and he hopes it’s Kofi Kingston because we all know he’d rather have Xavier Woods in the back anyway.

New Day cut a response promo where Kofi accepts the challenge.

We get a recap of Bron Breakker spearing Ludwig Kaiser.

Jey Uso cuts a promo from the concourse about how he needs the W in his qualifying match tonight and makes his entrance to send us to break.

Finn Balor vs. Jey Uso vs. Rey Mysterio (Money in the Bank Qualifying Match)

Balor out to the floor, Rey and Jey slap hands, collar and elbow, Mysterio dives on Finn and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Balor in control with a reverse chinlock on Uso, grinding him down, Jey back on his feet, striking away, superkick, fireman’s carry, Finn slips out but Rey comes off the top with the seated senton! Springboard crossbody, only two, float-over crucifix on Uso, cover for two!

Low-bridge sends Jey to the floor, Balor with a schoolboy for two! Mysterio with an elbow out of the corner, up on the second, Finn cutting his legs out from under him, electric chair, into la casadora and Rey puts him on the second! Balor explodes back out with a lariat, trading kicks with Uso and all three men are down as we go to break!

Back from commercial, jockeying for position in the corner, Uso spears Rey... NOPE! Mysterio stacking up offense on Balor, 619 on him, one for Uso as well! Up top, Frankensteiner puts both men into position, Rey hits a double 619! Judgment Day run in and cut Rey down, but Braun Strowman makes the save and chases them out through the crowd!

Finn eats a superkick, only two! Sling Blade connects, Rey back to the ring, fireman’s carry, Balor runs him into the turnbuckles, up top, Coup de Grace... BUT JEY DIVES ON HIM IN TURN! IT’S OVER!

Jey Uso wins by pinfall with the diving splash on Finn Balor, qualifying for Money in the Bank.

Post-match, Jey Uso celebrates.

The lights go down stepwise.

A door appears covered in ivy and a ghostly figure crawls out through it, smiling up at the camera. Eventually the figure reaches a lantern casting an ethereal light into the fog and the figure stands up and points back to the door.

The camera goes around the door and to the back, finding a pile of bodies and what appears to be Erick Rowan merged with Rambling Rabbit holding a hammer that says “help.” In Gorilla all the Production staff are laid out, one man’s blood splattered on the wall behind him as someone in a bird mask perches on a road case.

Through the door a man in a pig-shaped gas mask stands as we see more bodies, including Chad Gable, bleeding from the temple.

Uncle Howdy stands just behind him and approaches the camera, sureying his handiwork as he walks through Gorilla and out onto the stage, joined by bird and pig and rabbit. They approach the figure with the lantern and Uncle picks it up and lifts it high as the group stand together.

He says “We’re here” and blows it out.

That’s the show, folks.
