In the lead up to Paris fashion week, the following is a guide for Paris fashion you can afford. For those fond of fashion who don’t want to spend a fortune, these are the best discount stores and factory outlets. You’ll find top international designer brands at prices discounted from 30 to 80%!

A guide for those fond of fashion who don’t want not to spend a fortune. These are the best discount stores and factory outlets for shopping in Paris. You’ll find top international designer brands at prices discounted from 30 to 80%!

L’Habilleur

This is a typical Marais boutique, though offers huge discounts. You’ll find last season’s designer goods from the likes of Paul Smith and Roberto Collina at up to 70 per cent off.

Location:44 Rue Poitou, Paris, Île-de-France, France

La Vallée Village

You’ll want to plan a day trip for a visit to La Vallee Village outside of Paris, though it’s some of the best designer outlet shopping in the surrounds.

Find luxury fashion and homeware stores with discounts of up to 60% off. The mall is in a village setting with 90+ stores and deep discounts on high-end brands. Catch the express bus from Place des Pyramides.

Location:3 cours de la Garonne, Serris, Île-de-France, France

Marques Avenue

Large out of town shopping mall stocking a range of designer and boutique clothing and accessories at a reduced price.

It’s a 1.5 hour commute by train to Troyes from Paris, so you should plan to dedicate a full day. You’ll findnames like Hugo Boss, Etam and Naf-Naf, as well as outlet shops for many trendy French names.

Location: 114 Boulevard de Dijon, Saint-Julien-les-Villas, Champagne-Ardenne, France

Kilo Shop

This is a chain of retail stores selling second-hand clothing by the kilo, with thousands of unique vintage clothes and accessories up for grabs.

While there are some great vintage finds, the stores can sometimes be very picked-over. There are 6 of these stores in Paris.

Ding-Fring

Check out Ding-Fring for designer clothes, vintage, retro, streetwear, suits, … there’s something for all ages and all budgets at this charity shop with a difference.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside you’ll find a goldmine. It’s a charity shop with a wide range of secondhand clothes, where chain store labels hang alongside designer and vintage.

Location:39 rue Labrouste, Paris, Île-de-France, France

Tati

Tati is a popular department store selling a range of cheap and cheerful clothes and accessories.

You’re not going to find high quality here, but clothing is SUPER cheap. It’s a huge store which sells everything from Tshirts to wedding dresses, kids clothes and home ware. Think Walmart that picks up on Parisian styles.

Location:4-18 boulevard de Rochechouart, Paris, Île-de-France, France

Mistigriff

Mistigriff is a national chain selling designer labels outlet style, with frequent 60-85% discounts. The labels have sometimes been removed – hence the “mistigriff” (mystery label) name – so come with a keen eye for a real bargain.

This is one of the best spots in Paris to find designer seconds.

Stock Kookaï

Half of this large industrial space is a regular Kookai store with their current full-priced line; the other half is the stock, or outlet, full of bargains and cut-price clothes.

Location:82 rue de Réaumur, Paris, Île-de-France, France

La Piscine

This is a stock clearance and brand outlet shop. As such you never know what you’ll find, but it’s always high-quality stock.

Think Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace. You’ll find multiple high end brands with clothes and accessories for women and men.

André

The outlet store for André, a popular designer shoe brand, this is a shoe mecca.

Think cutting edge design at affordable prices with styles reminiscent of high end designer brands. Luxury collections like Louboutin are available here at a fraction of boutique prices.

Location:106 rue de Rivoli, Paris, Île-de-France, France

Chinemachine

A vintage clothing boutique in the 18th arrondissem*nt of Paris known for it’s unique buy / sell / trade policies.

Their ever-refreshed inventory includes major and local designer labels, vintage finds, as well as an assortment of jeans, leather, contemporary basics, and one-of-a-kind items.

Location:100 rue des martyrs, Paris, Île-de-France, France

Mouton a 5 Pattes

Come here for discounted clothes from previous designer’s seasons and collections. This is aParisian institution with great designer markdowns.

This particular store caters for both men’s and women’s clothing. Prices are decent, but not throwaway considering last season’s collections are in mint condition.

I remember being in Paris back before the euro, shopping in a Sephora (when it was only in France) and getting the BEST deals ever. My how times have changed. Glad to see that there are still corners of Paris where a fantastic deal is still waiting to be found :)

I’ve never been to Paris and I’m not really a shopping-kind-of-girl. But still, I would love to visit Ding-Fring, it seems like a great shop and I absolutely love the name. This is a great roundup of what seems to be great shopping though and if I end up in Paris and feel like shopping, I’ll remember your post.

I would never think discount shopping in Paris! This is a wonderful list! I’m not a big name label shopper, but would love to say I got something from Paris. I think Misitgriff would be a fun place to look for a great find. Thanks for sharing this great list of shopping options.

Would be in Paris ending of June 2018. Where can I get quality yet affordable place to shop women clothings and shoes with a moderate Hôtel close by too. Thank you and looking forward to your feedback.

  Hi Alice :) There are mid range hotels in almost every quarter of Paris, so I would chose where you want to shop, and then search for a hotel in the same quarter. If any of the shops we have listed above sound like you, you can copy and paste the location into Google, click on “Maps”, and then once you’ve got the map view there will be a button called “Nearby” click that and write “hotels”. It then brings up all of the hotels around that location with the prices :)

  Hi Brandi, you’re staying in the 12th Arrondissem*nt – in the same area you have Bercy Village which is worth a stop. This is an open-air plaza with a range of fashion and lifestyle boutiques. The 12th arrondissment is also right next to the 4th which has a great range of shopping – the Le Marais neighborhood in particular has a lot of trendy boutiques and vintage shops.
  In terms of scarves, Diwali Paris is a great shop in the 3rd district, also look for Monoprix and Catherine B.

Thank you so much for this! We are road tripping on our way to Paris and just got to our first stop and realized that I left all my bras except the one I’m wearing hanging in the laundry room!! I needed a Walmart like place to find something for the meantime!! You’re a lifesaver!!

My wife & I are going to Paris in June which would be 30 years since we last visited as crazy young backpackers doing everything on the cheap & dirty. Back then, we met a lovely Parisian girl who told us about a whole street of factory outlets like Bridge St Richmond was like decades ago, just off the metro stop called Alicia. It was our last day in Paris which was a Monday and nearly everything was closed. However, we do remember buying 2 Danial Hechtar suits & my wife brought 2 dresses which they shipped back to Oz for us. We just cannot remember where the street was and most maps dont show these outlets. Do you know if they are still around?

  Hi there, Rue d’Alésia between metro Alésia and rue Didot used to have about 40 outlet stores, it’s been a number of years since I was last there though so I’m not sure if any stores have been affected by COVID shutdowns etc :)
