WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR FEB. 14

Plug me in I’m alive tonight, out on the streets again. Turn me on, I’m too hot to stop, something you’ll never forget. Take my fist, break down walls, I’m on top tonight and I’m liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with Bobby Lashley making his entrance, flanked by Montel Vontavious Porter as usual.

Bob gets on the mic and talks about Elimination Chamber, acknowledging that it’s changed lives and careers, but so has he. MVP concurs and says he’s done some calculations and figured out that the WWE Champion has a 1-in-6 chance of winning the Elimination Chamber, which doesn’t sound very good, until you factor in one very important variable.

None of the men in the Chamber are All Mighty, so when you factor that in, that gives Lashley a 100% chance of walking out of Elimination Chamber the same way he walks in, as WWE Champion.

Enter Seth Rollins.

He tells Bob he looks great but bad news, not as great as he does, in his shiny snakeskin print suit. But hey, good news, he’s WWE Champion, bad news, not for very long. But, good news, none of the other men in the Chamber stand a chance at beating Bob. Bad news, he knows somebody who can, and that’s himself.

MVP says he’s had a vision that if Seth keeps running his mouth he’s not gonna make it to Elimination Chamber.

Enter Matt Riddle, wearing a toga because reasons.

He gets on the mic and asks if Seth is saying the Chamber is like one giant quiz bowl, and Rollins says he made no such reference. Matt rambles about getting locked in a gas station bathroom and somehow turns it into a statement of confidence in his victory in the Chamber.

He invites everybody to his RK-BROga party tonight, except for Seth, because he needs to get ready for his match against Randy Orton.

Enter Austin Theory.

He says Mr. McMahon has taught him a lot of lessons about expecting the unexpected and talks about how that gives him such motivation that he HAS to win the Elimination Chamber.

Enter AJ Styles.

He says Theory’s lips have been on Vince McMahon’s ass so long he’s not making sense anymore, and nobody has to worry about Austin in the Chamber, they have to worry about him, and he intends to win the WWE Championship once again. And hey, maybe he’ll win the United States Championship and walk into WrestleMania as a double champion.

Bob says he’s the only one who’s won a Chamber match, Theory’s too wet behind the ear, if Rollins was really a visionary he’d see there’s no way he’s winning, and if Riddle thinks he’s gonna win the title he needs to come down off the cloud he’s on, and he’s sorry, but AJ just isn’t gonna have that glorious WrestleMania moment he wants.

And Brock Lesnar? This is as close as he’s getting to winning the WWE Championship back.

Enter Brock Lesnar, dressed like a cowboy.

He hangs his hat and cardigan on Theory and gets in Lashley’s face. They jaw at each other, Theory tries to grab a sleeper and Lesnar slips out and takes him to Suplex City! Everybody clears the ring and Brock hits the F-5 on Austin!

Street Profits are chatting at Gorilla and chat excitedly about the Chamber match and the rest of tonight’s show besides.

I rush to the bathroom and my lovely wife Josie has a Valentine’s Day treat for y’all as she sat down to do entrances—

The Street Profits enter swagging around like a real couple of assholes. Red Solo cup? Really? Then there’s a plug for the Tander Chandling movie about a dog or whatever. I guess he’s in the Chuck Norris K-9 phase of his career.

And then Ziggler and Roode. Okay, so they’re in black and red, the profits are in white and red. All the White Stripes colors are represented. Then there’s a clip of NXT. This is like when Marvel comics did endless crossovers in the early 90’s to try and get you to have to buy every single book. Ask the Marvel folks how well that worked out for sales, Vince.

Dirty Dawgz (Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode) vs. Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford)

Tommaso Ciampa is here on commentary to follow up on Dolph’s NXT appearance.

Ford and Ziggler to start, Montez hard out the gates but the heels turn it around, quick tags, eventually Dawkins tags in and clears house! Dolph gets into it with Tom at ringside, that’s enough distraction for Angelo to hit the Sky High, Ford off the top...

Street Profits win by pinfall with the frog splash from Montez Ford on Robert Roode.

Post-match, Profits run the Dawgz off while Ciampa laughs and laughs.

We go backstage to the RK-BROga party.

Matt Riddle welcomes his guests but wonders where Randy Orton is. Queen Zelina Vega thinks the party is for her but Matt corrects her and leads everyone in a “broga” chant while Randy watches from a locker room.

An interview rolls up to ask why he’s not at the party.

Orton says he’s not really a broga party kinda guy and he has a match against Seth Rollins tonight, and he’s taking that very seriously.

We get a Black History Month video package spotlighting “Soulman” Rocky Johnson.

We get a promo from Kevin Owens.

He says he’s a realist and he doesn’t kid himself, and he doesn’t think he’ll be in the Elimination Chamber match and that means he probably won’t make WrestleMania and that bothers him. But the one good thing about missing WrestleMania it means he won’t have to compete in Dallas, Texas.

See, last week he said glowing things about Texas but the people of Texas questioned his integrity, and last week he was lying, but he’ll tell you the truth this week. He can’t stand Texas, he despises everything about it. He’s from sophisticated Quebec, unlike the people of Texas, who are redneck morons!

If North America was a human body, Texas would be its ass.

AJ Styles vs. Damian Priest (c) (WWE United States Championship)

Off the ropes, side headlock, Priest with a kneeling armbar. Pressing the attack, knees, off the ropes, leapfrog into chops, Damian turns him around and fires off headbutts and body blows to stagger him. Whip blocked, shot off, backbreaker from Priest for two!

Rear chinlock with a knee to the back, AJ fires up with a Styles Rush and takes him off his feet! Corner lariat, snapmare, sliding forearm, Damian fires back with a flapjack and uses it to set up a Dominator... NOPE! AJ ducks under a leg lariat and hits the Pele kick! A clothesline sends Priest to the floor, plancha attempt, Damian trips him up!

Ducking and dodging, a kick sends Styles crashing into the apron and Priest draws him up. AJ with right hands, setting him up but Damian nails him with a roundhouse kick! Off the ropes, springboard, roll through, roll up...

Damian Priest wins by pinfall with a sunset flip to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Post-match, AJ offers Priest a handshake and the champion accepts.

We go to the therapist’s office with Alexa Bliss.

She says she hasn’t been aggressive in the last week and for the first time in a long time, life is good and she’s happy. He says she’s entitled to a gift and he asks what she would like if he says he has a gift for her. She asks for the music to stop and he shuts it off, and he presents her with the actual gift, a pile of fluff and doll parts that used to be Lilly.

He gives them to her so she can be at peace, but she’s clearly troubled by the gift and has to struggle to calm herself. He also pulls out an intact Lilly and says he has an idea as the camera zooms in on the zipper down her back.

Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) vs. Omos (Handicap Match)

Alexander attacks from behind but Omos just palms his skull and throws him into the corner! Benjamin comes in, Omos stacks him up but he sidesteps and his a knee for the hope spot and the tag! Cedric springboards into a goozle, the big man boots Shelton...

Omos wins by pinfall with a chokeslam on Cedric Alexander.

We go out to dinner with Reggie and Dana Brooke and see Akira Tozawa and Tamina trying to sneak in incognito.

Akira wants to order food but she cuts him off and we cut away with the promise of more later.

We go back to the RK-BROga party and Matt Riddle gives Kevin Patrick a pep talk right before the Street Profits arrive.

Adam Pearce is in the ring to preside over a contract signing for Lita vs. Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber.

Becky is distraught and asks Lita not to do this. She says she hasn’t slept all week, thinking about how her teenage idol would come for her so close to WrestleMania, would physically assault her last week, but she’ll let it all slide if she tears the contract up and walks away right now.

What does she have left to prove? The only people that want to see this match are demented fans, and they don’t get to decide their destiny. Lita asks the crowd what she should do, and of course they want her to sign the contract and have the match. She says she has a whole damn run left in her, and a championship run at that, and she knows why Becky’s doing this.

Last week she saw that Lita still has what it takes to beat her, and she doesn’t have to like it, but the match is happening, and Lita signs the contract.

Becky says she’s pushing her to a point she may not be able to come back from, and she’s studied Lita’s career closely and she knows all her weaknesses, and she shouldn’t think for a second that she won’t go after her neck. When she’s done with her, people will remember her with a tear in their eye.

Becks signs the contract and Lita says the only thing that’s ending on Saturday is her title reign when she becomes Raw Women’s Champion.

We get an Elimination Chamber hype reel.

Rhea Ripley gets an inset promo where she says she’s on track and focused to rip through any woman that stands between her and becoming Raw Women’s Champion again.

Nikki ASH also gets an inset promo about how she’s gonna win and such, and we go to break.

Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop vs. Liv Morgan vs. Nikki ASH vs. Rhea Ripley (Gauntlet Match)

Back from commercial, ASH is in control on Ripley. Top wristlock applied, grinding her down, disdainful kicks after breaking the hold, and Rhea fires off desperate punches to back her into the ropes. Kick to the knee cuts her off, Ripley goes for a back suplex, that doesn’t work but the short-arm lariats do!

Back suplex facebuster finishes the exchange, pumphandle, Nikki floats over and lands a northern forearm! Jockeying for position in the turnbuckles, crossbody caught, Rhea drops her, pumphandle...

Rhea Ripley eliminates Nikki ASH by pinfall with Riptide.

Liv Morgan is out third and she gets an inset promo about how she’s the only woman competing tonight who has been in the Elimination Chamber and that’s why she’s going to win, and we go to break.

Morgan shoots in with schoolboy for a nearfall, backslide, small package, nothing works and Ripley front kicks her into the corner. Dropkick sends Rhea sprawling, corner elbow, running knee, snapmare, cover, no dice! Sleeper hold applied, trying to grind Ripley down, hooks are in but Rhea rams her into the corner to break!

Snapmare, electric chair into the facebuster, cover for two! Jockeying for position, kick gets a handspring Frankensteiner attempt, reversed and re-reversed into an X-Factor... NOPE! Back and forth over the ropes, Morgan goes up top, missile dropkick sidestepped, the inverted cloverleaf is in! Liv gets the ropes and the break but Ripley holds on too long and Morgan sends her flying into the turnbuckles!

Up in the electric chair, Rhea gets her into a fireman’s carry, Morgan to her feet, Ripley lands a kick, pumphandle...

Rhea Ripley eliminates Liv Morgan by pinfall with Riptide.

Doudrop is out fourth and we go to break.

Back from commercial, circling, collar and elbow, struggling against each other, Ripley with body blows, shoot her off, shoulder block, stalemate, off the ropes, shoulder block, Doudrop is unmoved! Rhea off the ropes, this time the shoulder block takes her off her feet and they go face-to-face!

Trading headbutts, Doudrop fires off a back suplex and follows it up with a senton for two! Laying forearms in in the corner, Rhea staggered and hurting, Doudrop lands a couple headbutts, Ripley with body blows, forearms, scoop and a slam! Off the ropes, senton, nobody home and Rhea throws a dropkick to follow it up!

Short-arm lariats, Doudrop shrugs them off and returns her own! Back and forth, pumphandle...

Double leg into a jackknife pin, whip reversed, back elbow, backflip up and over, suplex, roll through, Ripley blocks a second, jockeying for position... DELAYED VERTICAL FROM THE EST FOR TWO!

Cobra Twist applied, back and forth, cravate knees into a snapmare as Ripley turns the tide! Handspring moonsault keeps Belair in the fight, whip across, up and over, boots up in the corner. Duck a big boot, malfunction at the junction and both women are down and out and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Belair has her up for the Glam Slam but Ripley slips out! Some kicks, back to the chickenwings, she gets the elevation... GLAM SLAM FOR TWO! Up for the KOD, Rhea slips out, to the ropes, she smashes Bianca’s face into the turnbuckles and the feed blacks out while she climbs.

The EST cuts her off with palm strikes, back and forth, trading slaps ad nauseum! Out of the corner, handspring moonsault, the knees are up! Rhea needs a minute to re-tie her top, missile dropkick gets two! Inverted cloverleaf applied, Bianca gets out, spinebuster, backbreaker rack...

Bianca Belair wins, last eliminating Rhea Ripley with KOD to earn the right to enter last inside the Elimination Chamber.

Post-match, Rhea and Bianca fistbump and embrace.

Back to the RK-BROga party, Matt Riddle sings a song on guitar because why not.

Alpha Academy blindside him and declare the party over, flipping tables and running everybody off!

The Mysterios enter to send us to break.

Back from commercial, R-Truth ambushes Dana Brooke and Reggie at the restaurant and a brawl breaks out! Dana kisses Reggie and he asks if they can take their friendship to a new level. She says she didn’t mean to lead him on and he says he understands, friends it is... AND ROLLS HER UP TO WIN THE TITLE!

Reggie wins by pinfall with a schoolboy to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Truth and Tozawa and Tamina run up and stop to rub her loss in before a waiter brings her the bill.

Alpha Academy cut a promo during their entrance.

Gable shushes and then runs down the crowd and talks about how he’s never cheated in his life. He says RK-BRO hired an Irishman to host a spelling bee and his accent was thicker than Otis’ neck, and don’t get him started on the Quiz Bowl! Cartoons?! Ridiculous!

He literally shames Rey Mysterio and continues to berate the crowd.

Enter the Miz and Maryse, for some reason.

Aha, I see, they’ll be on commentary for this one, after the break.

Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis Dozovic) vs. the Mysterios (Dominik & Rey Mysterio)

Back from commercial, the match is in progress and Otis is literally stepping on Rey Mysterio. Hard whip into the corner, Dozer pressing the attack, big splash and a tag to Gable! Rey fighting back with body blows, whip across, up and over, drop toehold into the turnbuckles!

Tag to Otis, standing neck crank, he goes for the Vader Bomb but Mysterio rolls away! Tags made, Dominik with a tijeras, whip across, tornado DDT gets two! Fired up, front kick, Three Amigos, Gable reverses the third into a Tiger Suplex for two! Match breaks down, Mysterios flying, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Gable has Dom in a bow-and-arrow, Mysterio gets out, Chad throws belly-to-belly suplexes and gets two off of them! Moonsault off the top, nobody home, Dominik gets a schoolboy but no fall! Landing on his feet off a back suplex, tag made and Rey comes in hot!

Off the ropes, tijeras, clear Otis off the apron, sunset flip, roll through into the buzzsaw roundhouse, cover for two! Whip reversed, wheelbarrow reversed into a German suplex... NOPE! Electric chair, Dragonrana denied but Rey manages to save it into a bulldog only for Otis to break it up!

Putting Dozer into the corner, Rey hits an enzuigiri that sets Gable up on the second, tag made... STEREO 619! Dominik up top, Miz runs interference but gets run off by Rey, diving crossbody, Gable reverses...

Alpha Academy win by pinfall with a crucifix pin and a handful of trunks from Chad Gable on Dominik Mysterio.

Post-match, Maryse runs in and provides enough of a distraction for her husband to hit Skull-Crushing Finale on Rey Mysterio!

Back at the therapist’s office, he declares Alexa Bliss cured, or at least as cured as she can be, and she’ll be fine as long as she has Lilly.

Bliss says she doesn’t have Lilly, and the doc says she does, because her stuffing is in the new Lilly, and she should never let her go, and she’ll have a wonderful life. She thanks the doc and shakes his hand before making him shake Lilly’s... paw... and she clacks the perpetual motion balls on his desk before leaving.

We get a voiceover where she points out there’s an open entry in the Elimination Chamber and enters herself into the match.

Seth Rollins makes his entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of last week’s SmackDown.

Commentary hypes up the Elimination Chamber card.

Randy Orton makes his entrance and we go to break.

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

Circling, collar and elbow, Rollins breaks and struts around the ring. Diving knee off the apron, off the ropes, suicide dive sends Orton crashing over the announce desk and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Orton blocks a suplex but Rollins shifts the momentum and hits it anyway! To the apron, headed up top, Randy cuts him off, jockeying for position, superplex connects and both men are down and out! One-arm cover but Seth kicks out! Forearm puts Orton into the ropes, he comes back with a kick, clubbing blows, they keep trading in the middle of the ring!

Punch for punch, uppercut for enzuigiri, Randy is staggered but gets back up only to get reverse STO’d into the turnbuckles! Sling Blade connects, Rollins lying in wait, Blackout reversed into the snap scoop powerslam for two! Schoolboy for two, Seth is fired up, pacing the ring, rolling elbow connects!

Hauling Randy’s dead weight up, Death Blow follows but Randy sidesteps Blackout! Front kick, underhooks, float over, hanging DDT connects and Orton goes to that special place but Alpha Academy come running down! Matt Riddle is right behind them, Randy goes to the floor to help his tag partner as referee Chad Patton counts!

Back inside... BLACKOUT! SETH IS SLOW TO CAPITALIZE...

That’s the show, folks.
